MEN1, multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1, is involved in DNA crosslink repair. Found on chromosome 11q13, this gene is found mutated in a familial pattern in MEN Type 1, where patients and relatives present with adenomas of the pituitary and parathyroid and carcinoid tumors, such as pheochromocytomas.
