PTCH

Patched gene, PTCH, is found mutated in Gorlin Syndrome, which consists of many basal cell cancers of the skin. PTCH is found on chromosome 9q22.3 and is a transmembrane receptor for sonic hedgehog within the Wnt pathway, which is for development and growth.
